Day 01: Arrive Delhi- Traditional
Heritage India greetings upon arrival to the
"Capital City of India". Transfer to Hotel where you will be welcome as per traditional Indian hospitality.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi/Agra- After
breakfast, morning at 0830 hrs. sightseeing tour of
Historic Old & Modern New Delhi
visiting
Jamma Masjid which
is one of the largest mosque in Asia. This Grand Mosque,
built in 1656 by the Emperor Shahjahan on a natural
rocky outcorp took 6 years and 5000 workmen to construct at
the cost of nearly a million rupees.Huge 28 m square
courtyard accommodates upto 20,000 people at prayer times
especially during Friday prayers and on Id when it looks like a
sea of worshippers. Thereafter drive past Chandni Chowk
or Silver street & Red Fort built by Mughal
Emperor Shahjehan, the builder of Taj Mahal. Also
visit Raj Ghat where father of the nation Mahatma
Gandhi were cremated, thereafter
drive past Presidents' House,
Parliament House, visit India Gate & drive past
Humayun's Tomb. Also visit
Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah - the shrine of Sheikh Nizamuddin Aulia (1236-1325), the 4th Chisti Saint. After
lunch at a restaurant, leave Delhi by road driving past Lotus Temple
for City of Love' - Agra (203 kms 4 hrs.). On
arrival Agra, check-in at Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 03: Agra/Jaipur - After breakfast city tour of Agra visiting the world famous
Taj Mahal built
by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 to enshrine the
mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz
Mahal. Later visit the
Fort dominated by red sandstone construction and houses the beautiful
Pearl Mosque and other noteworthy structures. After lunch at hotel, leave Agra by road for
"Princely City- Jaipur" (223 kms.6 hrs.) enroute
visiting
Fatehpur Sikri built
by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569 and later abandoned after 15
years due scarcity of water supply. See the graceful buildings
including
The Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti & Buland Darwaza. On
arrival Jaipur check-in at Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
Day 04:
Jaipur/ Ajmer/Jaipur- After breakfst leave Jaipur for Ajmer (150 kms.3hrs.). On arrival
Ajmer visit
The Dargah of Khwaja Muhinuddin Chishti - the tomb of the Sufi Saint (also
Called The sun of the Realm) which was begun by Iltutmish and completed by Humayun.
Set in the heart of the old town, the entrance is through the bazaar.
It is considered to the second holiest site after Mecca. Lunch at hotel in Ajmer. After visit of Ajmer return to Jaipur by late afternoon.Evening proceed to
Choki Dhani, an ethnic village Resort with
a blend or rustic environment & splendor of
rich Rajasthani culture with every modern amenities.
At dusk,begins village festivities with Kalbeliya Dance,
Parrot Fortune Teller, Puppet Show, Camel ride
etc., followed by typical traditional Rajasthani
Dinner. After an enjoyable evening,
return to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: In Jaipur- After breakfast, excursion to
Amber Fort,
which was the capital of State until 1728. Visit Jagmandir or
the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal
and Temple of Kali. Ascend the hill, on which the Fort is situated
on Elephant back. On way to Amber Fort, stop at
Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds for photography.
After lunch, city sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting
Maharaja's City Palace,
Observatory Ram Niwas Gardens. Also drive through the Pink
Rose residential and business areas
of Jaipur. Thereafter some free time for shopping
including visit to Carpet Factory as Jaipur city is famous for Textiles
like carpets, dress materials for Male & Female,
block printings and for Jewellery. Jaipur exports largest
Jewellery including stones to the world over. Dinner &
Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur/ Delhi/ Leave Delhi. After breakfast, leave Jaipur by road for Delhi (250 kms.5 hrs.) Upon arrival Delhi drive past
Qutub Minar. After
lunch at restaurant, some free time for shopping. Thereafter early
dinner at restaurant and transfer to airport to connect flight for back
home.
